The Seabird Restoration Database

Welcome!

The Seabird Restoration Database is a unique global product presenting practitioners with real world examples of the methods and outcomes of active seabird restoration efforts around the world. The database contains data on planned, complete, ongoing, and incomplete projects that use social attraction stimuli (sound, decoys, mirrors) and/or translocation to restore seabird colonies. The full database is planned for completion in 2021 and will be made publicly available. Please continue to check this space for updates!

To contribute to the database, complete this survey, or email us at seabirddatabase@gmail.com. To learn more about the details of the database, please view our Seabird Restoration Database Glossary
